@meleemasters1 : hi i just tried it w/ voip phone and it works! This is awesome thanks!
@ScapularSaves The video was actually intended for those who had an xbox and didn’t want to spend the extra $100 on an adapter.
I can’t say honestly if this could work with a VOIP phone, but yes, if you use this method to connect an xbox console through a hotspot, it should work. I can’t guarantee it’ll be the most stable connection to use though.
I got a question. You say hook in XBOX now, can this also work for VOIP phone? And what if you are visiting a hotel or using some free hotspot, does it work? Thanks, nice video.
Okay i have it bridged but it keeps saying unidentified network under network bridged and enabled, bridged under local area connection can someone help with this its not working for me
@lukeazone Make sure your local area network isn’t disabled
@meleemasters1 make sure whats not disabled ?
@lukeazone Make sure it isn’t disabled, that’s about all the advice I know to give ya
it wont stop saying network cable unplugged even when its plugged in….
yeah both are enabled but nothing is happining i still dont see the bridge connection and i asked a friend about the problem and he told me i need a router but a differen friend does not have a router and yet he is able to get the bridge connection ):
@snowyyeti Make sure both the Local Area Connection and the Wireless Network Connection are enabled, neither should be grayed out. That SHOULD fix it, to the best of my knowledge
hey thats a great video but im having problems with it ok after i highlight them both there is no bridge connection icon that pops upwhat should i do?
hey im gettin a jtag an u need to hook an ethernet cable up to the router but my router isdownstairs so if i plug my ethrnet cable into the laptop it will get the same effect
thank you so much
@meleemasters1 so whats the deal if there is not sharing tab.. confusion
Make sure you’re going to the right place:
1) Right click the icon next to your sound icon on the taskbar, if you’re using Wi-Fi, it should look like bars
2) Select Open Networking and Sharing Center
3) On the sidebar on the left, click Change adapter settings
4) Find Wireless Network Connection, right click it, then go to properties.
If it is still grey’d out, make sure you are on an administrator account
I’m Having The Same Problem As GarrettPierce 2010, But When I Right Click “Wireless Network Connection”, I Can’t Click On Properties. What Should I Do?
wow man thanks a lot i knew how to do this with xbox 360, so i tried it with my sony bdp-s370 blu ray player and it worked ^^ Saved me cash on buying the wireless usb thing…Thanks
thank you so fucking much, i’ve been searching for ever trying to figure this shit out.
my local area connection wont show up
THANKS!!! man u really helped me alot
1) Right click Wireless Network Connection
2) Select “Properties”
3) Click the “Sharing” tab
4) Uncheck “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection”
When I try to bridge the two, it says, “To create a network bridge, you must select at least two LAN or high speed internet connections that are not being used by internet connection sharing.” Any suggestions?
Nice man, once I get Windows 7 Im deff gonna use this
dude consider yourself lucky, i have 1.3 meg down and 0.4 up
Just get a DIR-615 and modify it!
i have the same problem! im going to buy the wireless bridge now
I suppose, considering it also comes with 4 ports to use, its not a bad buy for the specification you get
I’ve connected my modified bridge up to my printer, PS3(new and not played on), and my £15.24 PC(Using laptop most of the time) So Ill see how it goes lol
if need some info about
